Official Visit to Yingli Green Energy Headquarters

Yingli Green Energy received a two day visit from senior government officials. Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited is one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers and a leading solar energy company.


The owner of  "Yingli Solar" brand, the company announced the recent delegation of government officials which included Jiang Zemin, former President of China, Zeng Peiyan, former Vice Premier of China, and Zhang Guobao, Director of the National Energy Administration of China. They visited Yingli Green Energy's headquarters in Baoding on March 5 and 6, 2010.

The delegation visited Yingli Green Energy's vertically-integrated manufacturing facilities in a two-day tour. Their visit included the Company's state-of-the-art polysilicon manufacturing plant, Fine Silicon. All officials were very interested in the tour and congratulated the Company on its leading position in the industry and its contributions to society.

Mr. Liansheng Miao, Chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy commented: "It is a great honor and privilege to host Mr. Jiang and the delegation at our headquarters. This high level visit once again reflects Yingli Green Energy's influence in the PV industry, and is also a positive sign showing valuable attention and support to renewable energy companies. Mr. Miao commented on news reports that this year's plenary sessions of the National People's Congress and the People's Political Consultative Conference in Beijing will include topics like increasing environmental protection and developing a low carbon economy. According to Miao, this is a positive sign for the continued growth of the domestic PV market and China-based solar companies.
