CIAT released recently a new Major Line, a new array of comfort units with cooling capacity from 700 W to 9 kW as classified by Eurovent ratings.

CIAT is one of the European top manufacturers of centralized air conditioning, air handling and heat exchange, as well as the leading French heat pump producer. The energy consumption of the newly launched products is 20% lower on average than that of older models.

According to CIAT sources, Major Line features HEE (High Energy Efficiency) turbines, a CIAT-developed solution. For further efficiency increase, the units can be optionally supplied with brushless HEE motors, 85% more economical. This results in more efficient motors, less noisy and with longer lifetimes. Additionally, noise level has been decreased by 1 to 3 dB with the innovative scroll and turbine shapes and using more absorbent materials such as ABS and EPS.

The new Major Line array is fit for both new buildings with low energy standards and in geographical regions with high capacity demands. The product range includes a dozen Major Line sizes, each available in four basic assembly configurations. There is no need for individualized instrumentation and control, as the products are fully compatible with CIAT control systems.
