New GEA GCH models are inverter-controlled compressor-condenser units with heat-pump function designed for commercial and industrial applications

The new GCH, inverter-controlled systems launched by GEA Air Treatment Services replace its successful compressor-condenser units, providing at the same time heat pump function.

Equipped with a finned tube heat exchanger as condenser and hermetic scroll compressors, the DX direct evaporators are connected to small and medium-sized ventilation units.

Depending on design and application the GCH range can provide between 11.2/12.5 kW and 28.0/31.5 kW heating and cooling throughout the entire year.

By using the evaporator of the connected ventilation unit, the GCH compressor-condenser unit eliminates the need for additional buffer storage, water lines, and pumps.
