Danfoss new generation system offers innovative features that facilitate the use of CO2, and the exploitation of the full potential of the refrigerant.
AK-CC 550A electronic controller includes an algorithm for the fast reaction in case of sudden superheat change. The sudden superheat change is one of the CO2 challenges especially in case of evaporators not fully adapted for CO2. The problem requires a very fast reaction from the controller.
AKVH valves deal with high pressure at standstill position and in some cases high differential pressure over expansion valves for high temperature cases. These are two other important CO2 requirements that Danfoss copes with. The valves have a MWP of 90 Bar and maximum pressure differential up to 35 Bar! Another important feature of AKV valves is the extremely fast reaction time, when compared to other expansion technologies.
The new Danfoss product simplifies the design and commissioning of CO2 systems and brings CO2 faster to the market.
