The new durable datacom analyzer has multi-interface compatibility.
GAO Instruments appraises the new datacom analyzer.
The compact handheld tool is durable and suitable for on-the-spot measurements, an ideal tool for R&D, production, equipment installation, acceptance testing, daily maintenance and service verification.
The analyzer is cost-effective and practical and it is used for verifying the quality-of-service of datacom transmission channels in access networks, transmission networks, digital data networks and private communication networks.
The datacom analyzer can be configured to DTE or DCE and ASYNC or SYNC mode and offers V.24, V.35, V.36, X.21, RS-449, RS-485, EIA-530 and EIA-530A interfaces. Model A0300009 monitors and controls handshaking signals. It supports measurements of error blocks and clock slips. The Rx and Tx clock sources are either internal or external in SYNC mode, and they are triggered with rising or falling edge detection.
The analyzer can store up to four groups of test results. It allows test results to be uploaded to a PC through a serial port. To support analysis, assembling, filing, and reporting of test results, the analyzer includes the Test Manager™ software which can be upgraded through the serial port.
