SeaEnergy use Ampelmann naval platforms for offshore maintenance and operation of wind energy, under an agreement of exclusivity.

SeaEnergy wants to use platforms for its marine businesses aimed at providing support services for construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of offshore wind farms.

Offshore wind access platforms will be used from the ships Ulstein X-Bow, allowing SeaEnergy greater levels of access and thus a better cost efficiency for developers and operators of offshore wind turbines.

SeaEnergy also recently signed an agreement with Ulstein to co-develop services for the offshore wind industry.

SeaEnergy system could allow the ship to work at night, having also better levels of access for maintenance under difficult conditions in winter.

Offshore wind duo Ampelmann and X-Bow is able to remain at sea 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing access to wind turbines almost all year round.
