RSES and the National Environmental Balancing Bureau have recently reached an agreement develop a publication titled, Refrigeration System Commissioning Guideline

The publication is scheduled for a late 2010 release and it is intended to be a guide for commissioning providers explaining the correct commissioning process for a refrigeration system.

RSES’ press release states that the publication will define the commissioning process for HVAC refrigeration systems such as package units, split DX systems, low-temperature and medium-temperature refrigeration systems.

RSES Executive Vice President Mark Lowry said: “The results of this joint venture are a more defined process for the commissioning provider, and a more efficient refrigeration system that contributes to the sustainability of the building it serves.  RSES is proud to work with NEBB in this effort to raise the bar for HVACR system performance.”
