IK rating

The IK rating classifies the level of protection that electrical appliances provide against mechanic impacts from outside.

IP rating or Ingress Protection rating

The IP rating or Ingress Protection rating classifies the level of protection that electrical appliances provide against the intrusion of solid objects (including dust) and liquids. It is defined in international standard IEC 60529.

TUV CERT

As globally recognised and expert testing and certification organisations, the German TÜVs joined forces in TÜV CERT for the certification of management systems as early as the early 1990s, to provide these services to their usual reputable and high-quality standard and, based on their international reputation, in accordance with standardised provisions.
